What to do if my Premier Water Dispenser control will not recharge automatically?
    • S
      susan60Aug 18, 2025
If your Premier Water Dispenser control isn't recharging automatically, it could be due to a disconnected AC adapter or motor. Ensure the power is connected. If the power is connected, the motor may be defective, and you may need to replace it. Another cause could be a meter clogged with debris; in this case, remove and clean the meter. Note that the unit will recharge every 7 days regardless.

If you're experiencing hard water leakage after a recharge, it could be due to an improper recharge. Repeat the recharge, ensuring the correct salt dosage was set. It may also be caused by leaking of the external bypass valve, in which case you should replace the bypass valve. Another possible cause is a damaged O-ring around the riser pipe; replace the O-ring in this instance.
