Other potential causes include incorrect pump pressure, which requires adjustment. A dirty fuel filter or an obstruction in the nozzle could also be the problem. Additionally, water in the fuel tank, bad electrical connections between the ignitor and the ignition control assembly, a defective ignitor, or a defective ignition control assembly could prevent ignition.

  If the motor of your Procom Electric Heater does not start eight seconds after plugging it in, there could be several reasons. Start by checking the circuit breaker in the electrical panel to ensure there's power to the heater. Also, verify that the thermostat setting isn't too low by turning the thermostat knob to a higher setting. Other potential issues include a bad electrical connection between the motor and ignition control assembly, a binding pump rotor, a defective ignition control assembly, or a defective motor.
