What to do if my Procom Electric Heater motor starts but doesn't ignite?
- RRachel GibsonAug 10, 2025
If the motor starts and runs but the Procom Electric Heater does not ignite, there might be several reasons. First, check if there is fuel in the tank and fill it with kerosene if needed. Other potential causes include incorrect pump pressure, which requires adjustment. A dirty fuel filter or an obstruction in the nozzle could also be the problem. Additionally, water in the fuel tank, bad electrical connections between the ignitor and the ignition control assembly, a defective ignitor, or a defective ignition control assembly could prevent ignition.
