What to do if my ProForm Treadmill power turns off during use?
    • S
      Susan BensonJul 30, 2025
If your ProForm Treadmill's power turns off during use, first check the circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If tripped, wait five minutes, then press the switch back in. Also, ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Finally, remove and reinsert the key into the console.

How to fix a ProForm Treadmill that does not turn on?
    • H
      Holly TorresAug 5, 2025
If your ProForm Treadmill doesn't turn on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor that meets the specifications on page 11 and that the suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet. Note that the treadmill isn't compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets. Also, make sure the key is inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset the breaker.

What to do if ProForm Treadmill walking belt is off-center or slips?
    • C
      claytoncarrieAug 11, 2025
If the walking belt of your ProForm Treadmill is off-center, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn; if it has shifted right, turn the left bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. If the walking belt slips when walked on, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. Turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 of a turn. When correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and carefully walk on the treadmill for a few minutes.

How to troubleshoot ProForm 595 Pi console display issues?
    • S
      Stephen CoxAug 17, 2025
If the displays of your ProForm Treadmill console don't function properly, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Locate the Reed Switch and the Magnet on the left side of the Pulley. Turn the Pulley until the Magnet aligns with the Reed Switch. If needed, loosen and retighten the Screw. Reattach the Hood, and run the treadmill for a few minutes to check for a correct speed reading.

Why does my ProForm 595 Pi walking belt slow down when I walk on it?
    • H
      Hannah StevensAug 25, 2025
If the walking belt of your ProForm Treadmill slows when walked on, and the walking belt is overtightened (which can decrease performance and damage the belt), use only a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets all specifications described on page 11. If the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use an allen wrench to turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes.
