  To troubleshoot a ProForm Treadmill that won't power on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor (meeting specific requirements) and that the suppressor is in a grounded outlet. Note that the treadmill isn't compatible with GFCI outlets. Also, ensure the key is fully inserted into the console. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If it protrudes, the breaker tripped; wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset.

How to recalibrate the incline on a ProForm XP 590S Treadmill?

  To recalibrate the incline system on your ProForm Treadmill, insert the key into the console and press one of the Incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level.

  If your ProForm Treadmill turns off during use, check the reset/off circuit breaker and reset it if tripped by waiting five minutes before pressing the switch back in. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if so, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Also, remove and reinsert the key fully into the console. If these steps do not resolve the issue, please call toll-free 1-800-4-MY-HOME (1-800-469-4663).
