If the walking belt slows down when walked on, ensure you are using a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets the necessary specifications. If the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord, then use the allen wrench to turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Plug the power cord back in, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened.

Remove the three Hood Screws and the two Screws. Locate the Reed Switch and the Magnet on the left side of the Pulley. Turn the Pulley until the Magnet is aligned with the Reed Switch.
