8. Identify the Left Handrail (101). Remove the tie
from the bracket on the Left Handrail.
Set the Left Handrail (101) on the Left Upright
(77). Attach the Left Handrail with three 5/16" x
3/4" Bolts (4) and three 5/16" Star Washers (9);
do not fully tighten the Bolts yet.

7. Orient the Crossbar (78) so that the indicated
bump is in the position shown. Attach the
Crossbar to the Left Upright (77) and the Right
Upright (79) with four 1/4" x 5/8" Bolts (7); do
not fully tighten the Bolts yet.

6. Hold a Bolt Spacer (84) inside the lower end of
the Left Upright (77). Insert a 3/8" x 4" Bolt (5)
with a 3/8" Star Washer (12) into the Left
Upright and the Bolt Spacer. Repeat this step
w
ith a second Bolt Spacer (84), 3/8" x 4" Bolt
(5), and 3/8" Star Washer (12).
Hold the Left Upright Spacer (82) and the Left
U
pright (77) against the Base (60). Tighten the
3/8" x 4" Bolts (5) until the heads of the Bolts
touch the Left Upright; do not fully tighten the
Bolts yet.
With the help of a second person, tip the tread-
mill so that the Base (60) is flat on the floor.
