How to fix ProForm PFTL313340 Treadmill when the power does not turn on?
    • J
      Jonathan OchoaAug 12, 2025
First, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet, using only a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets all specifications. Also, check that the key is fully inserted into the console. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the circuit breaker has tripped. To reset it, wait five minutes and then press the switch back in.

If your ProForm Treadmill turns off during use, first check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the circuit breaker has tripped, wait five minutes and then press the switch back in. Also, make sure that the power cord is plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and then plug it back in. Another thing to check is the key: remove it from the console, and then reinsert it fully.

What to do if the console display on my ProForm PFTL313340 isn't working right?

      Michelle McmillanAug 25, 2025
Remove the key from the console and unplug the power cord. Locate the Reed Switch and the Magnet on the left side of the Pulley. Turn the Pulley until the Magnet is aligned with the Reed Switch. Make sure that the gap between the Magnet and the Reed Switch is about 1/8”. If necessary, loosen the Screw, Retighten the Screw. Re-attach the Hood, and run the treadmill for a few minutes to check for a correct speed reading.

How to adjust a ProForm Treadmill walking belt that is off-center or slips?
    • R
      Robert FarrellAug 30, 2025
If the walking belt is off-center, remove the key and unplug the power cord first. If the belt has shifted to the left, use the allen wrench to turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 of a turn; if the belt has shifted to the right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn. Plug the power cord back in, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. If the walking belt slips when walked on, remove the key and unplug the power cord first. Using the allen wrench, turn both rear roller bolts clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each side of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and carefully walk on the treadmill for a few minutes.

Why does the ProForm PFTL313340 Treadmill walking belt slow down when I walk on it?
    • A
      Amy JonesSep 4, 2025
The walking belt might be slowing down due to a few reasons. First, ensure you're using only a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets all specified requirements. Also, the walking belt might be overtightened. To resolve this, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Using the allen wrench, turn both rear roller adjustment bolts counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is properly tightened, you should be able to lift each side of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes.
