How to turn on ProForm Treadmill if the power does not turn on?
    • L
      Lisa WilliamsJul 30, 2025
If your ProForm Treadmill power does not turn on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor (meeting specifications on page 9) that's connected to a grounded outlet, avoiding GFCI outlets. Also, confirm the key is fully inserted into the console. Check the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If it's protruding, the breaker tripped; wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset.

      Angel BrownAug 15, 2025
If the walking belt on your ProForm Treadmill is off-center, unplug the power cord and remove the key. If the belt is shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn; if shifted right, turn it counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill briefly, repeating until centered. If the walking belt slips, unplug the treadmill and remove the key. Turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. The belt should allow you to lift each edge 2 to 3 inches from the platform. Plug in the treadmill, insert the key and test it.

Why does the ProForm PFTL31105.1 Treadmill walking belt slow down when walked on?
    • L
      loganjenniferAug 22, 2025
If the walking belt of your ProForm Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, unplug the power cord and remove the key. Using an allen wrench, turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. The walking belt is properly tightened, when you are able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened. Also, use only a single-outlet surge suppressor.
