Follow these steps for initial setup and operation of the Profoto ComPact system.
Choose between 90-130V/60Hz or 180-260V/50Hz via the plug-in card.
Connect the generator to the power supply using the provided mains cable.
Connect to mains to charge; charging time depends on selected power and voltage.
Modelling light is mains-fed; check lamp voltage matches mains voltage.
Indicates full charge and acts as manual flash trigger for testing.
Acts as a slave sync, automatically disabled when sync cable is connected.
Connect via synchro cable to camera or flash meter; disables photocell.
Audible signal indicates full charge; can be switched off using the 'sound' button.
Adjusts power output in f-stops for ComPact 300/600/1200 models.
Set modelling light proportionally (PROP), max (MAX), or off (OFF).
Standard Pyrex tubes; quartz recommended for heavy use; handle with care.
Frosted glass cover with UV-coated flash tube provides daylight colour temp.
