MODELLING LIGHTADJUSTMENTS (10)
The modelling light can be set to followthe chosen
energy output proportionally(PROP)or set to max
(MAX) regardless of the energy output.The light can
also be turned off completely (OFF).
FLASHTUBES (11)
PyrexashtubesareincludedinstandardComPact and
ComPact deliveries. For heavy duty usage Quartz flash
tubes are recommended. Delivery on request.
The ComPact 1200 is delivered with a UV-reduced
quartz flashtube.The flash tube has two metal pins for
insertion into the unit. When removing a flash tube, pull
it straightout of the sockets. When insertinga connec-
tion clasps properly around the flash tube.
NOTE! BEFORE CHANGING MODELLING LAMP OR
FLASHTUBE. DUMPTHE ENERGYBY PRESSINGTHE
READYLAMP/TEST BUTTONOUTTHE SAMETIME
ASTURNINGTHE SWITCH OFF.
NOTE that the 300, 600 and 1200Wsunits all have
differentflash tubes.
COLOURTEMPERATURE (12)
AfrostedglasscoverisincludedinComPactSpecial and
ComPact Special deliveries. It gives, in combination with
the UV-coated flash tube, a recommended colour tem-
perature fordaylight type film. Distinctive colour tem-
perature adjustments can be obtained by combining
flash tubes and/or glass covers with different coatings.
