TR-069 (short for Technical Report 069) is a DSL Forum technical specification entitled CPE WAN Management
Protocol (CWMP). It defines an application layer protocol for remote management of end-user devices.
As a bidirectional HTTP based protocol it provides the communication between CPE (customer premises equipment)
and ACS (Auto Configuration Servers). It includes both a safe auto configuration and the control of other CPE
management functions within an integrated framework. Using TR-069 the terminals can get in contact with the ACS
(Auto Configuration Servers) and establish the configuration automatically.
ACS URL
URL for the CPE to connect to the ACS using the CPE WAN Management Protocol. This parameter MUST be in the form
of a valid HTTP or HTTPs URL. An HTTPs URL indicates that the ACS supports SSL. The “host” portion of this URL is used
