The PulseTech SolarPulse is a device designed to charge 12-volt lead-acid batteries and prevent/remove lead-sulfate deposits on battery plates. By keeping the plates clean, the battery recharges faster, accepts a full charge, and releases all its stored energy.
The SolarPulse unit consists of three main components: a solar panel with a quick disconnect for easy installation, a circuit box housing PulseTech's exclusive Pulse Technology, and positive and negative lugs for connecting to the battery.
The primary function of the SolarPulse is to maintain and extend the life of 12-volt lead-acid batteries. It achieves this through two main mechanisms:
Battery Charging: The solar panel converts sunlight into electrical energy, which is then used to charge the connected 12-volt lead-acid battery. This ensures the battery remains topped up, especially in vehicles or equipment that are not in constant use or are stored for extended periods. The charging process is automatic as long as the solar panel is exposed to sunlight.
Lead-Sulfate Deposit Prevention and Removal (Pulse Technology): This is a core feature of the SolarPulse. Lead-acid batteries naturally form lead-sulfate crystals on their plates over time, a process known as sulfation. Sulfation is a major cause of battery failure, reducing the battery's capacity to hold a charge and deliver power. PulseTech's patented Pulse Technology, housed within the circuit box, emits a specific pulse frequency that breaks down these lead-sulfate deposits. By preventing and removing these deposits, the SolarPulse helps to restore and maintain the battery's optimal performance. This desulfation process allows the battery to recharge more efficiently, accept a full charge, and deliver its full stored energy when needed.
The combination of charging and desulfation ensures that the battery not only stays charged but also maintains its internal health, leading to a longer operational lifespan and more reliable performance.
The SolarPulse is designed for straightforward installation and operation, making it suitable for a wide range of applications involving 12-volt lead-acid batteries in vehicles or equipment.
The SolarPulse is designed for minimal maintenance, focusing on ensuring the solar panel's efficiency and secure connections.
