If there are minor leaks in the piping, the pressure control unit may start the pump without the tap open. In
this case, we recommend the use of a buffer pressure tank.
6.4 Mode selection
The user chooses the appropriate working mode according to specific needs.
On the front panel there is a "Function" button which has two functions.
1. A short press of the button can start (restart) the pump.
2. A long press of the button for six seconds changes the mode. You can tell which mode you have
selected by the colour of the "Mode" light:
a. The green colour of the "Mode" light represents Mode 1 (Pressure Switch).
b. The red colour of the "Mode" light represents the 2nd mode (Presscontrol)
Water must be flowing out of the tap during adjustment.
After setting the mode, the "Mode" light should be the colour of the selected mode
6.5 Switch-on and switch-off pressure control
6.6 Frequent start-up protection function
If the time interval between switching the pump on and off is less than 15 seconds for more than 30
consecutive times, the protection against frequent pump starts is activated. The unit switches off the pump,
the "Mode" light flashes and the unit restarts after 30 minutes.
