1.4 – Important information for correct usage
– This device is to be used exclusively in open spaces
– In order to use the device, you must wait for satellite reception to have been completed; the GPS icon in the top left hand corner will appear on
a black background when reception is complete (see chap. 4.4)
– After a long period of inactivity, satellite detection may take up to 4/5 minutes
– In normal conditions when used on the track, satellite retrieval will only take a few seconds.
2 – Chronometer components
2.1 – Touch screen
Start has eliminated selection buttons which are difficult to press when wearing gloves; with Start, you select and scroll directly on the display thanks to
a touch screen pad and "Gloves Sensitive technology" which makes it possible to apply the pressure required even when wearing gloves. In addition, the
icons make it even more simple and intuitive to use the device.
