Applications:
Height transfer (Levelling)
QL320 H/HS/HV
Turn the instrument on. The levelling LED is flashing and the instrument is
self levelling.
If the LED lights continuously the rotary head starts and the laser beam will
be turned on.
Attach the receiver at this reference
point on a rod and move this height to
zero.
Now the respective difference in
levels to the reference height can be
measured on the ground. It is useful
to use a flexible rod to measure
positive and negative values simply.
Sloped Planes
QL320 HS/HV
Example: Slope gradient 3%:
Align the laser with the target notches
on the top housing to the align axis.
(e.g. X). Start the procedure like for the
height transfer. Let the instrument level
and mount the receiver on the
reference height in a fix distance (e.g.
10meters).
To reach a slope of 3% the receiver must be displaced down for 30cm and
attached.
Press the mode key twice (lower LED
lit) to change to the semi manual mode
or again for full manual mode.
Press the low arrow key to move down
the laser plane e.g. in X direction until
the receiver indicates middle (on-
grade) position.
