5.2. ATTACHING THE BEAN HOPPER TO THE GRINDER
3. Align the pin on the base of the bean hopper (2) with the safety slot on the back of the
grinding chamber (4) (Fig. 2), push the bean hopper down and turn it clockwise (towards )
until it clicks into a grind setting between “0” and “30” to lock it securely into the grinder.
5.3. ADJUSTING THE GRIND SETTING
4. Make sure the grinder is in a complete stop.
5. Turn the hopper (2) to select the desired grind setting (Fig. 3). Use a smaller setting for a
ner grind and a larger setting for a coarser grind (“0” to “30”). Adjust the setting according to
the roast, bean freshness, and personal preference.
IMPORTANT: Never adjust the grind setting while the grinder is running, as this can damage the
grinder.
5.4. FILLING THE BEAN HOPPER
6. Fill the hopper with sucient roasted coee beans and close the lid. For best avour and
aroma, use freshly roasted coee beans. It is recommended to use a French roast, espresso
roast, or medium to dark roast.
7. Do not store coee beans in the hopper. The beans will lose their freshness and become
stale. Store them in the bag or an airtight container in a cool place. Do not store roasted
coee beans in the refrigerator or freezer.
5.5. FILLING THE WATER TANK
The water tank can be lled while it is installed on the machine, or it can be removed for lling.
1. Press the Power button (A) to turn the machine o.
2. Fill the water tank up to the maximum level mark with ltered tap water or room temperature
drinking water. Do not use distilled or mineral water. Do not exceed the maximum level mark.
3. Rell the water tank when it is low ( FILL WATER TANK REMINDER).
5.6. ATTACHING THE DRIP TRAY
■ Insert the drip tray (12) and grid (11) into the machine.
■ Check and empty the drip tray regularly during use.
6. OPERATION
WARNING – Moving parts! This appliance contains moving parts that can cause
nger or hand injury. Do not touch moving parts. Always unplug the appliance from the
power outlet before approaching moving parts.
CAUTION – Risk of burns:
– Hot surfaces! Do not touch hot surfaces. Accessible surfaces, metal surfaces, and
accessories of the appliance become hot during use and are subject to residual heat after
use. Use handles, buttons or knobs to operate the appliance.
– Hot water and steam! Do not place hands directly under the brew head or steam wand
when the appliance is in use to avoid scalding or injury.
