oftenifthemachineisoperatedinextremelydustyareas.
Eachtimetheairfilterelementmaintenanceisperformed,
checktheairinlettothefiltercaseforobstructions.
Checktheairfiltercaserubberjointtothecarburetor
andmanifoldfittingsforanairtightseal.Tightenall
fittingssecurelytoavoidthepossibilityofunfiltered
airenteringtheengine.
Neveroperatetheenginewiththeairfilterelementremoved.
Thiswillallowunfilteredairtoenter,causingrapidengine
wearandpossibleenginedamage.
Additionally,operationwithouttheairfilterelementwill
affectcarburetorjettingwithsubsequentpoorperformance
andpossibleengineoverheating.
