NOTE:
Longtermstorage(60daysormore)ofyourmachine
willrequiresomepreventiveprocedurestoguardagainst
deterioration.Afterthoroughlycleaningthemachine,
prepareforstorageasfollows:
1.Fillthefueltankwithfreshfuelandaddthespecified
amountofATVFuelStabilizerandConditioneror
anequivalentproduct.
Specifiedamount:
1ozofstabilizertoeachgallonoffuel(or7.5ccof
stabilizertoeachliteroffuel)
Useoffuelstabilizerandconditionereliminatestheneed
todrainthefuelsystem.ConsultaATVdealerifthefuel
systemneedstobedrainedinstead.
2.Removethesparkplug,pouraboutonetablespoon
ofSAE10W30or20W40motoroilinthesparkplug
holeandreinstallthesparkplug.
Groundthesparkplugwireandturntheengineover
severaltimestocoatthecylinderwallwithoil.
3.Lubricateallcontrolcables.
4.Blockuptheframetoraiseallwheelsofftheground.
5.Tieaplasticbagovertheexhaustpipeoutlettoprevent
moisturefromentering.
6.Ifstoringinahumidorsalt-airatmosphere,coatall
exposedmetalsurfaceswithalightfilmofoil.Do
notapplyoiltoanyrubberpartsortheseatcover.
