      If a drive in your QNAP Network Storage Server configured as RAID 1 fails and needs replacement, access QTS, then navigate to 'Main Menu > Storage Manager > Storage > Disks/VJBOD' to find the faulty drive. Get a new hard drive ready. After removing the failed drive, wait about 20 seconds (or until you hear two beeps from the NAS) before inserting and installing the new drive into the tray. Make sure the status shows 'Rebuilding'.

      If Qfinder Pro or myQNAPcloud can't find your QNAP Network Storage Server during QTS installation, it might be due to faulty drives or data. To resolve this, turn off the NAS, take out all the drives, and then turn the NAS back on. Use Qfinder Pro or myQNAPcloud to locate the NAS. Once found, put the drives back in and continue installing QTS.
