    What to do if hot-swapping failed drives on my QNAP TVS-1672XU-RP Storage?

      To hot-swap failed drives, log on to QTS, then go to Main Menu > Storage Manager > Storage > Disks/VJBOD. Locate the failed drive. Prepare a new hard drive with a capacity that is the same as or larger than the failed hard drive. Remove the failed drive from the NAS. Wait for 20 seconds or until the NAS beeps twice. Remove the failed drive from the drive tray. Insert the new drive into the drive tray. Install the new drive. The NAS beeps twice. Go to Main Menu > Storage Manager > Storage Space. Locate the volume that contains the new drive and then verify that the status is Rebuilding.

    What to do if Qfinder Pro or myQNAPcloud is unable to locate the QNAP Storage during QTS installation?

      If Qfinder Pro or myQNAPcloud can't locate the NAS during QTS installation, the drives or data may be faulty. Power off the NAS, remove all drives, and power it back on. Try locating the NAS using Qfinder Pro or myQNAPcloud again. If found, reinsert the drives and continue with the QTS installation.
