    What to do if hot-swapping failed drives on QNAP Storage?

      If one or two member drives fail, log on to QuTS hero, then go to Main Menu > Storage & Snapshots > Storage > Disks/VJBOD. Locate the failed drive, and prepare a new hard drive. Ensure the new drive has a capacity that is the same as or larger than the failed hard drive. Remove the failed drive from the device, wait for approximately 20 seconds (or until the device beeps twice), remove the failed drive from the drive tray, insert the new drive into the drive tray, and then install the new drive.

    Why is Qfinder Pro or myQNAPcloud unable to locate the QNAP Storage during QuTS hero installation?

      If Qfinder Pro or myQNAPcloud can't find the NAS during QuTS hero installation, it might be due to faulty drives or data. To resolve this, power off the QNAP Storage, remove all drives, then power it back on. Try locating the NAS using Qfinder Pro or myQNAPcloud again. If found, reinsert the drives and proceed with the QuTS hero installation.
