Do not flow 1L/min through an analyzer
equipped with a pump without recalibrating the
instrument.
You have to recalibrate the instrument if you
want to flow gas directly into the instrument at
a higher flow rate. We do not recommend flow
rates of less than 300cc/min; the instrument
will respond extremely slowly. At flow rates
less than 200cc/min, it may be impossible for
the analyzer to ever reach zero.
WARNING
Do not press the pump button and flow gas
directly into the instrument simultaneously.
If the flow rate you are injecting is above
1L/min, this may cause damage to the pump,
as you are pressurizing a pump that is
designed to operate at 300cc/min.
In other words, if you purchase the instrument
with the pump, either:
1) Use the analyzer with the pump running
as calibrated and designed, OR
2) Inject gas into the instrument at
300cc/min (this will avoid having to
recalibrate the instrument), OR
3) Inject gas into the instrument at 1L/min
and recalibrate it for that flow
