PUMP TIME SETTING (OPTIONAL)
This potentiometer will adjust how long the
pump operates for, between a minimum of 2
seconds and a maximum of 12 seconds.
When pressing the pump button lightly, it will
operate according to this timing.
Since the instrument requires about 1L of
sample to obtain an accurate reading, for all
practical purposes the pump is not useful
unless you click the pump button into place
and allow it to operate for at least two minutes.
2-12 seconds of pump time is woefully
insufficient to achieve an accurate reading.
By “clicking” the pump into place, you can
operate it continuously. The rugged diaphragm
pump is durable enough for this operation,
provided that the analyzer is not drawing on a
vacuum, or a condition significantly less than
1.0 atm.
INSTRUMENT CALIBRATION FOR USE
WITH INTERNAL PUMP
If you have a pump, then the instrument has
been calibrated for best accuracy using the
pump. The response time will be somewhat
slower when using our internal pump.
