PRECAUTIONS
Follow these guidelines to prevent damage to
the unit and to extend the life of the sensor:
1. Turn the unit off when not in
use. Long term exposure to ambient
air, which contains 20.9% O
2
, will
shorten the life of the sensor.
2. Avoid getting liquids into the unit
through the sample port.
3. Turn the unit off before
plugging/unplugging the charger.
4. Do not immerse in water or spray water
on the unit.
5. Do not drop the unit.
6. For battery operated units, remove the
fuse to prevent battery discharge if
stored for more than 2 weeks.
7. Do not test moist samples. Moisture will
damage the sensor.
8. Do not use any other power supply
other than that which is supplied with
the analyzer (12V, center positive,
2.1mm, >1A)
9. If equipped with a pump, do not
simultaneously flow gas into the inlet
while running the pump.
