CONTINUOUS SAMPLING WITHOUT USING
THE INTERNAL PUMP
This analyzer provides a real-time readout of
the concentration, whether the pump button is
pressed or not. However, for continuous
measurement of a sample stream, the sample
must be at some positive pressure to force a
flow through the analyzer.
In other words, just setting the instrument in a
chamber is not enough to get a good reading.
There will never be enough gas diffusing into
the openings to cause the reading to change.
Controlling the flow rate entering the
instrument is critical when not using the pump.
We recommend 800 – 1000 cc/min. Lower
flow rates will produce a higher reading, and
higher flow rates will produce a lower reading.
