Quicksilver 755OP — Electrical Systems
42
5. Fuses and Breakers
Your boat will either have fuses or breakers protecng the DC electrical system. If you have to replace
a fuse or electrical breaker, replace only with a fuse or breaker of the same rang. The amperage will
be marked on the fuse or breaker, and it is recommended that you carry spare fuses or breakers.
Use only fuses and breakers having the same amperage
rang as the original or as specied. Use of higher
amperage fuses or breakers is a re hazard.
If a fuse or breaker is replaced with one that has a lower amperage, it may not be sucient to carry
the electrical load of the equipment it is connected to and will cause nuisance failures. If a fuse or
breaker is replaced with one that has a higher amperage, it will not provide protecon against an
electrical malfuncon and could create a possible re hazard.
The 755OP has a breaker panel at the helm, located below the steering wheel. There is also addional
breakers located on the baery switch panel in the cockpit seat storage tub.

OFF Posion ON Posion Combine Baeries
The bilge pumps and stereo memory sll draw power from
the baeries, even if the switches are set to OFF. This is
especially important for the bilge pumps, so that they can
operate anyme excess uid accumulates in the bilge,
which can occur when the boat is docked and unaended.
Never work on the electrical system while the system is
energized. Never leave the cra unaended with the
electrical system energized.
