1.1.12. SYSTEM FILLING
WARNING
For system filling use only clean tap water.
WARNING
If the system is filled by adding ethylene
glycol-type chemical agents it is suggested to install
a system fender on the hydronic system in order to
separate the heating circuit from the domestic circuit.
Before powering up the boiler, fill the system as
follows:
1. Make sure the circulator is not blocked;
2. Slightly loosen the cap of the circulator air
eliminator (1-fig. 11) to release the air from the
system;
3. Slightly loosen the cap of the air eliminator
placed on the top of the condensing block
(fig. 13) to release the air form the top of the
system;
4. Open the feeding tap “R” (fig. 12);
5. Release all the air;
6. Use pressure gauge “M” (fig. 12) to make sure
that the system pressure reaches 1.2 bar (fig.
14);
7. After performing this operation, make sure
that the loading tap “R” (fig. 12) is properly
closed.
