7.1. Replacing the Filter

Hextio features a hybrid particulate matter and carbon filter, which is located at the top of the device. This

filter should be replaced after six months (approximately 4,000 hours) of use, depending on the environment

in which the device is used. Replacement filters are available for purchase through your local Radic8

distributor.

1. Turn off the power at the wall socket and remove the DC plug from Hextio.

2. Remove the airflow guide from the top of the device. To remove the airflow guide, gently pull up from the

back of the guide — do not lift from the front:

3. Using a Phillips (cross-head) screwdriver, unscrew the two filter grid screws. Remove the top filter grid:
