7422)andfollowthemenuoptions.Modifyingortampering
withthetelephone’sinternalcomponentscancausea
malfunctionandmightinvalidateitswarrantyandvoidyour
FCCauthorizationtooperateit.
Yourtelephoneconnectsdirectlytoamodulartelephone
linejack.Ifyourtelephonewiringdoesnothaveamodular
jack,youcanupdatethewiringyourselfusingjacksand
adapters(availableatyourlocalRadioShack store),orhave
thetelephonecompanyupdatethewiringforyou.Youmust
usecompatiblemodularjacksthatarecompliantwithPart68
ofFCCRulesandtherequirementsadoptedbytheACTA.The
telephonecordandmodularplugprovidedisPart68compliant
forconnectingtothetelephonecompanynetwork.
