modularjack.Connecttheotherendtothebase.
n Note: Your local RadioShack store sells a variety of longer
coiled handset cords.
Phone Settings
1. PressandholdbothUPandDOWNforaboutfourseconds
untilENTER LANGUAGEdisplays
2. ENG ESP FRAappears,withENGashing.PressUPorDOWN
toselectthedesiredlanguage,thenpressDELETEtoconrm.
3. LCD CONTRASTand1 2 3 4 5 appearonthedisplay,with
3ashing.PressUPorDOWNtoselectthecontrastlevel
(1-5),andpressDELETEtoconrm.
4. ENTER AREA CODEappears,then___appears,with
therst_ashing.PressUPorDOWNtoselecttherst
numberofyourareacode,andpressDELETEtoconrm
theselection.
5. Theashing_goestothenextdigit.Repeatstep4toset
thesecondandthethirddigits.
6. ENTER TIME DATE appears,andthehourdigitashes.Press
UPorDOWNtoselectthedesiredhour.(PMappearsfor
PMhours.)PressDELETEtoconrm.
7. Repeatstep6tosettheminutes,month,anddate.
Ringer
Ifyoudonotwanttohearthephonering,slideRINGERto
OFF.Youcanstillmakecallswiththeringeroff,andyoucanstill
answercallsifyouhearanotherphoneonthesamelinering.
TheNEW CALLindicatorasheswhenthephonerings,even
whentheringerisoff.Ifyouwanttohearthephonering,set
RINGERtoHIorLO.
