    • In calibration mode, insert the injection tip into a graduated cylinder and press start to inject a 10 ml dose.
    • Enter the actual amount of product injected into the cylinder using the up or down arrows and press reset.
    • Repeat the 10 ml calibration dose until the device distributes an accurate 10 ml dose, repeating two more times for accuracy confirmation.
  • Injecting:

    • Drilling Injection Sites: Drill into root flares as close to soil grade as possible, avoiding cavities or rot. Use a 15/64" high helix drill bit to a depth of 3/4" to 1", perpendicular to the bark surface.
    • Determining Dose: Calculate the amount of product per injection site by dividing the total amount needed for the tree by the number of injection sites (DBH/2).
    • Setting Dose: In 'injection mode', use the up or down arrows to adjust the ml of dose per injection site.
    • Injection Process: Insert the tip into the tree by turning clockwise until it seats firmly. Open the ball valve on the injection tee and press the start button. The screen will turn green, displaying current PSI. When complete, the screen turns red, showing the total dose injected. The device will beep 5 times when pressure drops below 10 psi.
    • Finishing Injection: After completing injections, close the ball valve and insert the tee into the device holsters. The device can be put into sleep mode by pressing the power on/off button for 5 seconds.
  • Resetting Injection Dose: Press the reset button (also power on/off button) once to reset the total amount injected and the number of doses, and again to reset the 10 ml injection dose and total volume injected.

  • Purging Product from Lines: Open the ball valve on the tee handle and ensure the reservoir is fully inserted. Switch to 'purge mode' using the arrows. Press start/pause to run the pump backward, purging product back into the tank.
