What to do if hot water comes out of Rainfresh Laboratory Equipment?
    • J
      Jacob GarnerAug 9, 2025
If hot water is coming out of your Rainfresh Laboratory Equipment taps/faucets, it could be due to the water inside the UV unit heating up during long periods of non-use, or the unit may be too large for the home. To avoid scalding, flush the water for about 2 minutes before using it after periods of non-use, such as overnight. Alternatively, install a temperature-controlled purge valve on the UV outlet.

      Devin CoxAug 16, 2025
Condensation on the outside of your Rainfresh Laboratory Equipment UV chamber is normal if the humidity in the environment is high. Consider installing a dehumidifier to protect the ballast and protect the flooring below the UV unit.
