What to do if my Rainfresh CGFE948 Water Filtration Systems filter is not working?
    • E
      Eric MercadoAug 15, 2025
If your Rainfresh Water Filtration System filter isn't working, there could be several reasons: * The control valve might be unplugged. Ensure it is properly plugged into the power supply. * The bypass valve may be closed. Make sure to open it. * The chemical tank may be empty. Add POT PERM to the tank. * The injector/screen could be plugged. Clean these parts. * The brine refill settings might be incorrect. Double-check and correct them. * There could be a leak between the valve and riser tube. Inspect the riser for cracks or O-ring damage and replace any faulty parts. * Finally, there might be an internal valve leak. In this case, replace the valve seals, spacer, and piston assembly.

Why is my Rainfresh CGFE948 unit failing to draw chemical?
    • P
      Patricia RodriguezAug 18, 2025
If your Rainfresh Water Filtration System unit isn't drawing chemical, consider these potential causes: 1. The elastic band on the safety float in the chemical tank might not have been removed. Remove it according to the instructions. 2. The DLFC (Drain Line Flow Control) could be plugged. Clean the DLFC. 3. The injector or screen might be plugged. Clean these parts. 4. The inlet pressure might be too low. Increase the minimum pressure to at least 25 psi. 5. There could be an internal valve leak. Replace the seals, spacer, and piston assembly. 6. Vacation Mode might be set to “Yes”. Under level 1 programming, set vacation mode to “No”.

How to fix low water pressure in Rainfresh Water Filtration Systems?
    • S
      stevenevansAug 21, 2025
If you're experiencing low water pressure with your Rainfresh Water Filtration System, it could be due to: * Iron or manganese buildup in the line feeding the filter. Try cleaning or replacing the supply line. * Iron buildup inside the valve or tank. Clean the control valve and increase the regeneration frequency. * The inlet of the control valve being plugged with dirt. Clean the control valve inlet.
