Battery Status Indicator Lights
Onthecontrolpanelthereare2setsoflights:onthetopsideofthebatterylightsindicate
thechargelevelinthebatteryattachedtotheleftsideoftheventilator,onthebottomside
ofthebatterylightsindicatethechargelevelinthebatteryattachedtotherightsideofthe
ventilator.
Ifthebatteryischarging,thegreenindicatorlightswillhorizontallyscrollfromleft-to-right,
turningsolidgreenwhenthebatteryisfullycharged.
Iftheventilatorisrunningonbatterypower,theestimatedremainingbatterytimeis
shown.
Ifallthelightsashred,thisindicatesthatthebatteryhasfailedandthebatterymustbe
replaced.
• Toprotectitselffromdamageandextenditslife,thebatterypack'sintelligentcircuit
monitorscurrentdrawandtemperature.Inextremesituations,thebatterypackwill
turnOFFtheventilatorifthecurrentdrawbecomestoohigh.
• Whileabatteryundergoesachargecycle,itstemperaturerises.Topreventgrid
corrosionandeventualbatteryfailure,allowthebatterytocooldowninbetween
charginganddischarging.

Makesurethebatterypackisconnectedcorrectlytotheventilator,asdescribedabovein
“Connection of Battery Pack”.
• Thenextstepistoleavetheventilatoro.Duringcharging,thebatteryindicatorlights
willash.Thebatterychargelevelcanberecognizedbythenumberoflightsthatare
constantlylit.
• WhenbatteriesandACareconnected,thebatterieswillbeginchargingafter60
minutesofidletime.
• Indicatorlightswillshowchargestateduringcharging.Chargingshouldcompletein
about5hours,withtheBatteryStatusIndicatorlightsturninggreen.ShouldtheSpeed
Controlbeturnedcounterclockwiseonduringthecharge,chargingwillstop,andthe
ventilatorwillstart.Chargingwillbeginagainafter60minutesofidletime.
• Afterchargingiscomplete,thechargerswillmaintainthebattery(s)bykeepingthe
ventilatorconnectedtoAC.
• Whilecharging,thebatterystatusLEDlightswillstrobe.Thebatterieswillbe
disconnectedattheendoftheirchargeautomatically.Attheendofcharging,the
currentpowerisdisplayedfor5minutesandthenthelightswillbeturnedo.
