Gently pull this gray wire loose from the tab on the back of the steam switch.
Replace the gray wire with the new purple wire whose other end is connected to the relay
coil.
This is the “neutral” side of the steam switch. Again, proper polarity of the brown and
purple wires is critical to the operation of the relay.
