Step S4 – Connect cap wire
Locate the short red “cap” wire in your steam package. It will have a blue, fully insulated
male quick disconnect terminal on one end, and a crimped white cap on the other.
Connect the blue male disconnect to the gray wire that was removed from the steam
switch in the previous step.
Step S4 – Connect jumper across steam thermostat
Locate the short red “jumper” wire in your steam package. It will have blue, fully
insulated male quick disconnects on both ends.
