1.UsingtheSurface/Flushmountingtemplateasaguide ,cuttherelevantcutoutholeinthe
mountingsurface,ifyouareFlushmountingtheMFD,alsofollowtherebateinformationonthe
mountingtemplate.
2.Screwthe4xstudsintotherearoftheMFD.
3.RemovethebackingfromthegasketandattachittotherearoftheMFD,ensuringthatthe
black,softsideisagainsttherearoftheMFD.
4.InserttheMFDintothecutouthole.
Important:Inabovedeck s,flushmountinstallations,marinegradesiliconeshouldbeusedtoseal
thegapbetweentheedgeofthemountingsurfaceandtheedgeoftheMFD.
5.PlacetheT runnionadaptoroverthebackoftheMFD.
6.SecuretheMFDinpositionbyhand-tighteningthethumbnutsontothestuds.
Important:T opreventpotentialdamagetotheunit,doNOTovertightenthethumbnuts.Hand
tightenonly.
7 .IfrequiredinsertyourMicroSDcardintotheMFDcardreader,locatedbehindtherubberbungon
therearoftheMFD.
8.Routeandconnectnecessarycables.
Note:Thesuncoverprovidedinthebo xisforuseinTrunnionbracketinstallations,whenSurface
mountingtheproductaccessorysuncoverR70527isrequired.Nosuncoverisavailablefor
Flushmountinstallations.
