Settingthedepthoffset
Beforeattemptingtosetawaterlineorkeeloffset,ndoutthe
verticalseparationbetweenthetransducerandeitherthewaterline
orthebottomofthekeelonyourvessel,asappropriate.
WiththelistoftransducersavailabledisplayedfromtheTransducer
Setupmenu.
1.PressENTERtoproceedtothetransducersetupoptions.
2.Selecteither:
•Depth,foraconventionaldepthtransducer,
•DSTorDTforasmarttransducer.
3.Selectfromthefollowingchoices:
•Waterline
•Keel
4.Usethearrowbuttonstoselecttherequiredoffset.
ThisistheverticaldistancefromthetransducertotheKeelor
Waterlineasrequired.
5.PressENTERtosavetheoffsetvalue.
6.PressCANCELtoexittheTransducerSetupmenu.
4.3Calibratingwatertemperature
Youcancalibratethewatertemperaturereading.Thisisdoneby
matchingthetemperaturedisplayedbytheinstrumenttoaseparate
readingtakenwithathermometer.
Youwillneedansuitablethermometertomeasurethewater
temperature.
WiththelistoftransducersavailabledisplayedfromtheTransducer
Setupmenu.
1.PressENTERtoproceedtothetransducersetupoptions.
2.Selecteither:
•Speed,foraconventionaldepthtransducer,
•DSTorDTforasmarttransducer.
3.SelecttheTemperatureOffsetoption.
4.Useasuitablethermometertomeasurethewatertemperature.
5.Usethearrowbuttonstomatchthedisplayedtemperatureatthe
instrumenttothatmeasuredbythethermometer.
6.PressENTERtosavethesetting.
7.PressCANCELtoexittheTransducerSetupmenu.
