Calibratingspeed(smarttransducers)
ADST(Depth,Speed,Temperature)smarttransducerhasa
defaultcalibrationsettingwhichprovidesacceptabletransducer
performanceinmostcircumstances.Howeveryoucanperformyour
owncalibrationtosuityourboat.
•YouwillneedanaccurateSpeedoverground(SOG)value,e.g.
determinedfromaGPSconnectedintoyourSeaT alksystem.
•Youwillneedtobeunderway,withsufcientspacetomaneuver
unhindered.
•Conditionsshouldbecalmwaterwithaslacktide.
Note:Itisimportantthatthereisnotide.Theaffectoftidal
currentwouldbetopreventanaccuratespeedcalibration.
Youcansetupto8calibrationpointsacrossthefullspeedrange
foryourboat.
WiththelistoftransducersavailabledisplayedfromtheTransducer
Setupmenu:
1.PressENTERtoproceedtothetransducersetupoptions.
2.SelectSpeedCalibrationfromtheavailableoptions.
ThescreenwilldisplayalistofspeedstowhichtheDST800
transduceriscalibrated.
