First ring
If you have subscribed to the caller ID service with your service pr ovider , your
phone can suppress the first r i ng before the c a ll e r ID d i s p l a y s on the s c r ee n .
A f te r the phone is reset, i t can detect automatically if the c a ll e r ID se r v i c e i s
subscribed and start to suppress the first ring. Y ou can change this setting to
s u i t your p r e f e r e nc e . T h i s feature o n l y a pp li es to mo d e l s w i t h first r i ng support.
Turn the first ring on/off
1 Press MENU .
2 Select [ADVANCED SET] > [FIRST RING], then press [OK] to confirm.
3 Select [ON]/[OFF], press [OK] to confirm.
»» The setting is saved.
Note: To reset the first ring status, go to the reset menu.

Make a call
• You can make a call in these ways:
• Quick call
• Dial before you call
• Redial the most recent number
• Call from the redial list .
• Call from the phonebook list
• Call from the call log
Quick call
1 Press .
2 Dial the phone number .
»» The number is dialed out.
»» The duration of your current call is displayed.
Dial before you call
1 Dial the phone number
• To erase a digit , press [ B A CK].
• To enter a pause, press and hold [ #P A USE/RINGER ].
2 Press to dial out the call.
Redial the most recent number
1 Press .
2 Press REDIAL .
