7 . Use the touch-tone pad to enter the telephone number (up to 20 digits,
including pauses), and press the MENU/OK button to confirm. Select
Melody, Melody 5 shows on the display.
8 . Press the Navigation (  o r  ) button to select from melody 1 to melody
10 (a testing tone is generated while making melody selection), press
the MENU/OK button to confirm, the records are stored alphabetically
in the phone book .
Inserting a p ause
Press the #pause/ringer button on the handset‟s touch-tone pad to insert
a delay in dialing sequence when a pause is needed to wait for a dial tone
(for example, after you dial 9 for an outside line, or to wait for a computer
access tone) Each pause counts as one digit in the dialing sequence.
Editing a phonebook record
From Phonebook S ub-Menu:
1 . Press the Navigation (  or  ) button to scroll to Edit Entry.
2 . Press the MENU/OK button to confirm.
3 . Repeat Steps 4 through 8 in “Adding phonebook entries” section.
Deleting a phonebook record
From phone book sub-menu:
1 . Press the Navigation (  or  ) button to scroll to Delete Entry.
2 . Press the MENU/OK button to confirm, all records are shown in
alphabetical or der .
3 . Press the Navigation (  or  ) button or key in alphabet to the desired
records.
4 . Press the MENU/OK button to confirm.
NOTE: If you don’t want to change or delete a record, simply
press the HANG UP button, or wait for one minute to exit
automatically.
Deleting all phonebook records
From phone book sub-menu:
1 . Press the Navigation (  or  ) button to scroll to Delete All.
2 . Press the MENU/OK button, the screen displays Confirm?
3 . Press the MENU/OK button to confirm the deletion.
