You canadd aprofessional touch to your recordingswhen you fade in andout of
scenes.Both the picture andsoundwill gradually appearor disappear. The speedof
the fade is controlled by the camcorder.
FADE
Select the Type of Fade
You can select white, wipe, zoom, or
black-and-white fade. Press DISPLAY to
display the fade mode icon.
• Select white fade to fade in and out
from/to a white screen. _]_ appears
in the viewfinder.
• Select wipe fade to fade in and out
from/to a black, yellow, blue or green
screen. [_] appears in the viewfinder.
• Select zoom fade to fade in and out
while zooming. [] appears in the
viewfinder.
Select black-and-white fade to fade
in/out from/to a black-and-white
picture. B/W appears in the
viewfinder.
Notes: You cannot use zoom fade with the
special effects MIRROR mode or MOSAIC
mode.
If you press the DIGITAL EFFECTS button
after setting the fade function, the fade
functin will be released. After setting the
DIGITAL EFFECTS mode, reset the fade
function.
