WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
Do not try to light any appliance.
Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any
phone in your building.
Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbors
phone. Follow the gas suppliers instructions.
If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the re
department.
Installation and service must be performed by a quali-
ed installer, service agency or the gas supplier.
WARNING: This appliance is equipped for Natural and
Propane gas. Field conversion is not permitted other than
between natural or propane gases.

      If you press the ignitor button on your ReddyHeater and there's a spark at the ODS/pilot, but no ignition occurs, try the following: * Ensure the gas supply is on and the equipment shutoff valve is open. * Fully press the control knob while pressing the ignitor button. * Hold down the control knob and repeat the igniting operation to remove air from the gas lines. * Clean the ODS/pilot or replace the ODS/pilot assembly. * Check the inlet gas pressure or replace the inlet gas regulator. * Ensure the control knob is in the PILOT position. * Contact your local propane/LP gas company if the gas supply is depleted.

      If the ODS/pilot light of your ReddyHeater lights, but the flame goes out when you release the control knob, here’s what you can do: 1. Make sure you are pressing the control knob fully. 2. After the ODS/pilot lights, keep the control knob pressed in for 30 seconds. 3. Ensure the equipment shutoff valve is fully open. 4. Hand tighten the thermocouple connection at the control valve until it is snug, then tighten it an additional 1/4 turn. 5. If the pilot flame isn't touching the thermocouple, contact your local gas company or clean/replace the ODS/pilot assembly. 6. Replace the thermocouple if it is damaged. 7. Replace the control valve if it is damaged.
