■ CONNECTING SWITCH WIRES
• Connect the switch wires between the
engine and the main unit. Pair the wires
of the same color.
■ INSTALLING HANDLE
• Mount the loop handle onto the shaft.
Note that the loop handle must be fitted
between the arrows on the shaft.
• For BCZ260S & BCZ260TS fit the
clamp and screw. Do not overtighten.
• Now adjust the trimmer to give a
comfortable working position. Tighten
the bolt. (SE1)
TIGHTENING TORQUE:
18~27 in-lbs
(2.0~3.0 N.m.)

INSTALLING CUTTING ATTACHMENT GUARD
• Put the cutting attachment guard on the
gear box, attach it with the screws and
hardware provided. (SE2)
TIGHTENING TORQUE:
26~44 in-lbs
(3.0~5.0 N.m.)
■ INSTALLING TRIMMER HEAD (SE3)
1. While locking the gear shaft, by
inserting the supplied tool into the
upper holder on the bevel gear.
2. Fit the trimmer head to the gear shaft
over the drive disk and spacer. Hand-
tighten it securely.
5. For safe operation
The inside of the muffler contain
chemicals that may be carcinogenic.
Avoid contact with these elements in
the event of a damaged muffler.
Bear in mind that:
The exhaust fumes from the engine are
hot and may contain sparks which can
start a fire. Never start the machine
indoors or near combustible material!
