How to troubleshoot power issues on my Reebok 9500 Es Treadmill?

  First, ensure the power cord is correctly plugged into a surge suppressor, and the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet. Note that the Reebok Treadmill isn't compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets. Also, verify that the key is inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the circuit breaker has tripped. To reset it, wait five minutes, then press the switch to the reset position.

  First, check the reset/off circuit breaker; if tripped, wait five minutes before resetting it. Then, ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Next, remove and re-insert the key from the console. If these steps don't resolve the issue, please consult the front cover of this manual.

What to do if the walking belt is off-center or slips on my Reebok Treadmill?

  If the walking belt is off-center, remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn; if it has shifted right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes, repeating until centered. If the walking belt slips, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Using the hex key, turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. The belt is correctly tightened when you can lift each edge 3 to 4 inches off the platform. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and carefully walk on the treadmill for a few minutes, repeating until properly tightened.

Why does the walking belt slow down when I walk on my Reebok Treadmill?

  If the walking belt is overtightened, treadmill performance may decrease and the walking belt may become damaged, so use only a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets all of the specifications. If the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Using the hex key, turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise 1/4 turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 3 to 4 inches off the walking platform. Keep the walking belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes, repeating until properly tightened. If the issue persists, please see the front cover of this manual.

How to recalibrate the incline on a Reebok 9500 Es Treadmill?

  With the key in the console, press one of the Incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level, recalibrating the incline system.

Why is television reception poor when using my Reebok 9500 Es?

  Poor television reception is usually caused by interference from automobile ignition systems, neon lamps, electric drifts, or other electric appliances. Try changing the position of other electric appliances to correct the problem, and ensure the treadmill is plugged into its own electrical circuit. If the issue persists, it may be due to the local cable company signal reception, in which case you should contact them.
