PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES POSSIBLE CORRECTIVE STEPS
System stopped
and displays alarm.
WATER LOW PRESSURE alarm.
1. If using city water, make sure pump inlet pressure is at least 40
psi. Make sure there is no restriction and inlet pipe dimension
is respected according to the information supplied previously
in this manual. Low-pressure switch may be damaged. Check
low-pressure switch. If pressure is correct, continuity should be
detected. Reset alarm.
2. If using water tank, make sure there is proper ow, no restriction
and inlet pipe dimension is respected according to the information
supplied previously in this manual. Low-level switch may be
damaged. Check low-level switch. When pressure is correct,
continuity should be detected. Reset alarm.
NOTE: To check continuity, rst remove wires from ID2 and Ground on
port J12 and read continuity between ID2 and Ground.
WATER HIGH PRESSURE alarm.
(Moduling pump or customized only)
1. Check for obstruction in pipe from pump to nozzles.
2. Check for obstructed nozzles.
3. Reduce amount of water sprayed. Refer to the Operation Principle/
Sequence of Operation section of the adiabatic controller
programming manual to understand your conguration and adjust
the amount of water by following instructions on page 17 to page
19.
4. Lower pump outlet pressure by adjusting bypass valve from pump
outlet to pump inlet.
Make sure water inlet pressure is closed to 40
psi.
OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE SENSOR
FAILURE alarm.
1. Make sure outside temperature reading is not affected by an offset.
Refer to page 28 of the adiabatic controller programming manual
to adjust offsets.
2. Check sensor and wiring. Look for open wire or short. Disconnect
wires from B1 and Ground (port J2), read resistance, it should
be around 10 Kohms at 25
o
C, 27K ohms at 0
o
C. If reading open,
replace sensor.
FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR
FAILURE alarm.
(if controlled by FT)
1. Check that uid/gas temperature reading is not affected by an
offset. Refer to page 28 of the adiabatic controller programming
manual to adjust offsets.
2. Check sensor and wiring. Look for open wire or short. Disconnect
wires from B2 and Ground (port J2), read resistance, it should
be around 10 Kohms at 25
o
C, 27K ohms at 0
o
C. If reading open,
replace sensor.
