Power Trim Fluid
Power trim uid allows your stern drive to angle up or down. is
is particularly useful when trying to get your boat to plane where
the hull is as much out of the water as physically possible, reducing
friction, and improving ride performance. is power trim uid

shouldn’t need to be replaced very o en, if at all.
Power trim uid should be checked regularly, despite not requiring
replacement unless something serious happens. Discoloration or
water presence indicates a water leak in the stern drive. In that case,

Sha Lubricant
Drive and prop sha lubricant keeps the turning parts on the prop
sha from wearing out too quickly. It also assists in the removal of
the props by preventing the metal parts from binding. Lubricant
should be placed on the u-joint and spline sha , along with an
anti-corrosive grease to ensure continued functionality. Consider
having the sha s serviced periodically to ensure proper lubrication
at the engine coupler and propeller.
