Disembarking Questionnaire
Have you removed the keys from the ignition and secured them?
Have all systems been checked for leaks?
Has the battery switch been turned to the “off ” position?
Are all seacocks closed?
Has the fuel tank been lled enough to prevent condensation?
Is the vessel properly tied and covered with equipment stored?
To prevent unwarranted engine damage, see your Engine
Operator’s Manual for manufacturer-recommended fuel and oil
specifications.
WARNING
Always follow safe practices when fueling. Gasoline is
extremely flammable and highly explosive under certain
conditions. Failure to follow safe practices when fueling could
result in death and serious injury.
When refueling, observe the following:
• Have a proper and charged re extinguisher ready.
• Secure the boat to the dock.
• Stop all engines, motors and fans before refueling.
• Never smoke or allow open flames or sparks within 50 feet
(15 meters) of the fueling area.
