Turning Message Waiting Light On/Off Manually
This allows the first user of voicemail the opportunity to notify
another user that a voicemail message is waiting for their review.
It also allows the user to stop the message waiting light from
flashing if it is doing so in error. When used, it will reset the light
signal in the phone. This does not send any outgoing signal to an
outside voicemail service.
When the message waiting light is turned off, it will re-activate
when a new phone message arrives in voicemail.
To turn ON:
While in on-hook state, and the light
is OFF, press the * key for three
seconds and the TouchLite® will
light.
To turn OFF:

is ON, press the * key for three

turn off.
Note: When turning light off, the Mail Icon on the LCD display will
also turn off.
