Switch the unit on by pressing the “On/Off” key. The operating lamp (12, Fig. 1) will light up.
If the unit is fitted with a suction device and the phase sequence is incorrect, two phases will be ex-
changed automatically so that the pump operates in pressure mode. Should another display appear,
see Section 6.1.
5. Switching off
The unit can be switched off by pressing the “On/Off” key (12, Fig. 1) or by means of the timer.
The switching-off program will run automatically according to the temperature of the heat transfer fluid
as follows:
All displays are extinguished, with the exception of the alarm lamp and “oFF” in the display to the
right. Pump and monitoring control system are switched off. The RT 45 is now in stand-by mode.
The “On/Off” lamp flashes; the pump continues running. The unit continues to cool until the tem-
perature of the fluid has reached the programmed pump run-out temperature “PtE” (see Section
7.2). The pump and control system are then switched off. The RT 45 switches to stand-by mode. All
displays are extinguished, with the exception of the alarm display and “oFF”.
As the unit has to be switched off or back on again via the main switch, the unit will return to the
operational state in which it was before being switched off or will have to be up. It must be switched
on again via the “On/Off” key depending upon its programming. The same is true when the mains is
interrupted.
